Where does your merino wool come from?
We use 100% RWS-certified merino wool sourced from responsible suppliers.
The Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) is an internationally recognised certification that focuses on animal welfare, responsible land management, and traceability throughout the wool supply chain.
This helps ensure that the wool comes from farms following specific standards for responsible farming and production practices.
Is merino wool sustainable?

How often should merino clothing be washed?
Merino wool is naturally odour-resistant, so it doesn't need to be washed frequently. Airing garments between wears is often sufficient. Gentle care helps preserve the softness and longevity of each piece.
How should I wash merino wool?
Hand washing is recommended. Use cool or lukewarm water with a wool-safe detergent, then gently reshape and lay flat to dry. Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric.
Can merino clothing be machine washed?
o preserve softness, shape, and overall quality, hand washing is recommended even over a gentle or wool cycle. Always follow the care instructions included with the garment.
Can merino wool go in the dryer?
No. The dryer is not recommended, as heat can damage the fibres and affect the shape and softness of the garment. Laying flat to dry naturally is the best option.
Will merino shrink?
Like other natural fibres, merino can shrink if exposed to high heat or improper washing. Gentle hand washing in cool or lukewarm water, followed by laying flat to dry, helps preserve the shape and softness of the garment.
Why do merino garments sometimes develop pilling?
Pilling is a natural characteristic of many soft knitted fibres, especially during the first wears or in areas exposed to friction.
This does not affect the quality or functionality of the garment and can usually be gently removed with proper wool care.

How do I choose the right size?

We also tend to work with slightly roomier fits to allow freedom of movement and help babies enjoy the garments for longer as they grow.
If you are unsure between two sizes, we usually recommend choosing the larger size.
Are your garments stretchy?
Yes. Knitted merino wool naturally offers softness and flexibility, allowing garments to stretch comfortably whilst maintaining their shape over time.
